These are some of my favorite cookies--half brownie half cookie! This is an old family recipe from my mom's Aunt Betty. Chocolate drop cookies get softer and chewier after a day or two, so they're ideal if you're planning on send someone a gift or to preparing dessert the night before an event.
Mmmmm... makes the most delicious cookie dough, too! So light and fluffy.
Here's the finished product!
Recipe:
1 c. butter
2c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cocoa or 4 chocolate squares
1 c. sour milk (add a tablespoon of vinegar to regular milk to make it)
1/2 t. baking soda
3 c. flour
a pinch of salt
nuts optional
Add the ingredients in the order listed above and bake at 350 degrees.

My First Post--Hello!
Hey!
My name is Elizabeth, and I decided to start a blog because I love Pinterest (follow me! pinterest.com/sororitycountry), and I have really enjoyed reading posts from various food, health, decorating, and style blogs that I have discovered while pinning. This is my opportunity to join in on the conversation, and I hope use this blog to share my interests--especially my love of cooking. I'm about to start my post-grad life in a new city, Washington D.C., so I'll have a lot to talk about as I begin this chapter of my life!
Thanks for stopping by,
Elizabeth
